German publication BILD have provided a new interesting update on Liverpool and Florian Wirtz.
The German international has been one of the major names linked with a switch to Anfield this summer, and it appears the club’s hierarchy is prepared to take a huge step in ensuring they land him.
This is according to a report by BILD, which claims that the club’s chief executive, Michael Edwards, is set to travel to the US to discuss signing Wirtz.
“The bosses around football boss Michael Edwards (45) are to fly to Boston this week,” BILD reported.
“Reason for the visit: The English want to get the figures for the Wirtz transfer approved by the club owners of the “Fenway Sports Group,” the report added.
